Amcon Dry Eye Test U.S.P.

The small dosage of fluorescein in the Amcon DET strips provides for a more precise measurement of Fluorescein Breakup Time (FBUT) or tear break up time. The slim tip design limits the amount of fluorescein fluid applied to approximately 1µL.  Traditional fluorescein strips tend to flood the fragile 3 to 7µL tear film volume with up to 17µLof dye fluid. The tear film is not compromised so that a more accurate and more reliable FBUT reading is acquired. The thin, lint-free impregnated tip provides virtually virtually no touch sensation when applied to the bulbar conjunctiva. Protective barrier keeps fluid off finger. Sterile. Each box contains 50 pouches of 2 strips each.
